2018 – Fourteen Degrees of Separation, The Gallery, Ellenbrook

The premise of this group project was for each artist to interpret an artwork made by another in the group for the purposes of reading, examining, responding and recontextualising.  This process of creative re-imagining is a demonstration of how artists convey meaning through production.  Having access to only one artwork, without additional context, meant that each artist was required to interpret the work, extract meaning and produce a response guided by instinct and visual language alone.
